Estelle Maskame book presentation Amsterdam

On Wednesday we went to an amazing book event: Did I mention I love you?  Written by Estelle Maskame hosted by Moon Uitgevers.  The book event was held on a very special place: a boat. OmG we never went to a book presentation on a boat. Very special through the canals of Amsterdam. Curious what we thought about this event. Read on please….

 

Around 6.30 pm we were expected at Stadhouderskade Amsterdam for a gathering with a group of fifty people. Some were bookbloggers like us and others  were Maskame fans.  We all had something in common: we are die hard bookwurms/addicts.  At 19.00 p.m. Estelle arrived and we went on the boat, it was bigger than an average canal boats we have in Amsterdam.

“Writing could be more than a hobby.”

Meanwhile we went through all the canals of Amsterdam by Blue Boats Company. It was so nice. It had been a while we went on a canal boat. We felt like a tourist in our own country.

 

After her interview we got her book translated in Dutch. Then it was time for us all to interview her. She took here time and she went through all tables. In a small group of people we had the time to interview her. Very nice you don’t see that often on book presentations.

We had a nice time. Thank you Moon Uitgevers for a nice evening and book event! We are now reading the book. Soon a book review online!
